Esta vez le presento un deporte del que yo no estaba muy informada, solo sabia lo basico
El deporte en si es super conocido, se llama Longboard pero dentro de este hay varias categorias, hoy les mostrare el Freeride y el Freestyle
Fui introducida a el por Rodrigo, quien lo practica hace algunos años y para que, es muy bueno!!! Asi que lo convenci en hacerle una sesion y mostrarles un poco de su talento y de paso para que conozcan mas del deporte, los dejo con las fotos

This time i will introduce you to a sport i didn't knew much: Longboard
The sport itself is really popular, but inside this are some categories and today i will show you more Freeride and Freestyle
I was introduced to it by Rodrigo, who practiced it a few years ago, and let me add he is pretty good at it!!! So i convinced him to do a shoot so we can show the rest what he can do, and also to learn more about this kind of longboard, i let the pictures speak
Les explico un poco mas de estos estilos:
Freeride: combina el carving y el sliding, bajas
igual rápido por una cuesta haciendo giros y slides
Freestyle: combina todo lo que es dancing (bailar
sobre la tabla y los truquitos en plano)
Aqui en Peru no se practica tanto estos estilos, mayormente se quedan en downhill o skate, es por eso que le estoy haciendo hincapie a este tipo de longboard, para darles a conocer algo nuevo (para mi lo fue)
El lo practica recien hace 1 año y medio pero cada dia mejora mas, lo mas importante, encontrar gente que tenga una pasion tan fuerte por ciertas cosas y que teniendo ya la vida del adulto (trabajar, estudiar, etc) igual se de el tiempo para hacer lo que en verdad le gusta, creo que todos deberiamos tratar de hacer lo mismo asi estariamos mas felices no? :) Acuerdense de mi que esto no es lo ultimo que van a escuchar de este estilo de longboard, o de Rodrigo, yo se se que vas a llegar a estar en las grandes ligas!!

Mejores Spots: Donde?
Cualquier sitio que tenga una buena pendiente o te permita ser creativo, el recomienda Los Alamos de Monterrico o las pistas por la Planicie en la Molina, mientras mas pendiente...MEJOR
Que les parecio? Se animarian a probarlo? Ojo que siempre hay que tener en cuenta usar casco y si es para hacer este deporte, adicionar rodilleras y guantes para poder deslizarse bien!!

Let me explain a little more about this styles:
Freeride: combines carving and sliding, you slide and turn in a steep slope at a super fast speed
Freestyle: combines dancing (you dance on the board and do tricks but in a non steep road)
Here in Peru there is not much ppl practicing this styles, they do practice more downhill or regular skate, that's why i'm giving such big importance to this kind of sport, so you can see something new (for me it was!)
He's been practicing for about a year and a half but keeps getting better, the most important thins is to find people who has this kind of strong passion about something, it doesn't matter if they live the adult life (you know work, study and pay for bills) but he gets the time to do what he actually loves and i think if we all did the same the world would be a much happier place am i right?
Remember my words, this is not the last we hear about this style and Rodrigo, he will make it to the tip ones here for sure!!

Any place that has a good steep hill or let you be creative and play, the thing here is to have fun! the steeper...the BETTER!!!
